Porto Design Biennale 2021
May 06, 2021
The programme for the second edition of the Porto Design Biennale is now closed. It will take place between June 2 and July 25 in the cities of Porto and Matosinhos.
The event will organise over 49 activities that aim to stimulate the interest of design in promoting new discourses and practices, which integrate the prospective capacity of the discipline to outline innovative solutions to collective problems. Exhibitions, conferences, workshops and publications compose the programmatic body proposed by the general curator, Alastair Fuad-Luke, for an edition that is intended to take place with everyone's participation - citizens, visitors, professionals and design lovers - generating strategic and effective alliances for the construction of communities of change.
The core programme of the event presented today joins the already announced French programme, Autre, and the cycle of satellite activities selected from the open call launched by the event.
