Inviting the 35 Portuguese design schools – public and private, Polytechnics and Universities, in mainland Portugal and the islands, with training in three stages of study – to participate in design critique shows over the past three years, this exhibition is split into two registers: self-representation of the 26 participating schools — an unfiltered exhibition of 142 projects received; curatorial representation of the exhibition — taxonomic selection of 60 illustrative projects. The set of 60 projects is a synopsis of thinking in Design, revealing the relevance and contribution of each of the schools represented here by its students and teachers, illustrating the concerns of  'Generation Y' (or Millennials), but also of the ontology of Design itself which, as with drawing, is based on the convergence between a designer (a singular or collective author), a means of production (technology) and a desire or purpose (programme).
