Under the Agora Nós Programme, IPDJ will be selecting 35 young volunteers to take part in the third edition of the Porto Design Biennale.
Young people aged between 18 and 30 with an interest in culture (arts, design, architecture, etc.), with a good knowledge of English and who are willing to take part in the activities can apply for this volunteer scheme.
Applications are open until 10 October and must be made via this link.
The tasks to be carried out are:
Logistical support for the organisation;
Receiving and guiding the public;
Accompanying guided tours of the various spaces;
Room support at exhibitions;
Distribution of materials;
Providing information on the Biennale programme;
Supporting event production (before and during events).
If you are selected, you will be entitled to:
Tote bag;
T-shirt;
Identification ribbon and badge;
Civil liability insurance / Personal accident insurance;
Reimbursement of expenses (€12/day);
Masks and disinfectant gel;
Training on how to volunteer and carry out your tasks.
With the theme "Being Water", the Porto Design Biennale presents itself as a unique opportunity to explore the intersection between Design and the challenges of our time. The event is promoted in collaboration between the municipalities of Porto and Matosinhos, with organisation by esad—idea.
