Pioneering the Future of Furniture is a meeting between wood and furniture professionals and specialists and the scientific and technological community. The event promotes a space for discussion and reflection on the main challenges of the future of the sector, including design, sustainability, new markets and business models, emerging technologies and future skills.
The panel of speakers includes national and international personalities, with simultaneous translation. The event will also feature technical workshops on topics relevant to product and process innovation, as well as demonstrations of new technologies.

Câmara Municipal de Paços de Ferreira and Associação Empresarial de Paços de Ferreira work together to contribute to the development and promotion of the Portuguese furniture cluster.
Paços de Ferreira is a city with more than 1000 companies working in the furniture industry, and a European cluster working with premium and awarded architectural and design projects worldwide.
